cadre_logo-300x130The Center for the Advancement of Digital Resources in Education(CADRE) is a unique partnership of instructional and technical specialists based out of the Butte County Office of Education in California. The CADRE team includes expert consultants from both within and outside of the public education system as well as operational implementers from a number of other agencies including county offices of education, federal education labs, state education offices, and higher education.

Coordinating with our implementation partners the California Department of Education and the California K12 High Speed Network and working directly with the lead-technical programming agency, Navigation North Learning Solutions, during the proto-type development process, CADRE considers the Learning Registry project an excellent opportunity to further ensure equitable access to diverse, instructionally-rich resources for all schools and the communities they serve. Additionally, creating means to document and share the methods by which effective educators use these collective resources provides us a real pathway to share best practice in meeting the needs of the nation’s most culturally and geographically diverse state.

As such, we are proud to work with such a dedicated group of partners on the initial thinking and development of the Learning Registry and look to take the efforts of this work, aggressively out to the schools, teachers, leaders, and children of California.

To access full implementation models, CADRE has assisted in organizing the technical execution of the Learning Registry proto-type within the following key participating communities along with the California Department of Education and the California K12 HSN:

  • Brokers of Expertise – California’s Statewide Educator Resource and Collaboration Portal
  • CTE Online – A National Career and Technical Education Curriculum Model and Practitioner Resource Portal
