Doing What Works (DWW), sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, is an online library of resources created to help educators implement research-based instructional practices. Led by the Office of Planning, Evaluation & Policy Development (OPEPD) at the U.S. Department of Education, DWW takes recommendations from the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) at the U.S. Department of Education on research-based practices, and offers examples of how educators might apply research findings to teaching practices.

DWW is pleased to be an early collaborator in the Learning Registry. In preparation for a complete connection to the Registry, information about a selection of our resources have been placed into the Registry by way of our partner site–Butte County Office of Education’s Brokers of Expertise. We look forward to continuing our collaboration to publish our full set of metadata and to connect with usage data about our DWW site.
